The controversy and fierce personal attacks that resulted from the scandal of his first work of dubious origin, Oz Le’elo-him (see previous Lot ) did not deter Hayun. The appearance of this heretical text, complete with fraudulent approbations, resulted in further assaults upon Hayun - a most militant champion of the false Messiah, Shabbetai Tzvi.
