One of only two works by this Galician preacher and Masorite who lived in Lemberg in the 17th Century. The entire work comprises fifty aggadic expositions to the single verse; “And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all His ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul.” Deuteronomy, Chap. X, v.12. Regarding the typographical variances between this Cracow edition and the second edition (Lublin, 1645), see Y. Yudlov, Shinuyim Typographim Be’sepharim Ivri’im, in Aresheth, Vol. VI p.104, no. 12. Yudlov doubts the Lublin edition was entirely reprinted and suggests that it is simply a re-issue of the Cracow edition
