Two Volumes. Seemingly printed without title page. With table that determines which lunar years are leap years. Also a calendar of holidays from years 1751-1830. Both titles with engravings by Griselini. Volume I: Depicting the Israelites praying on the Day of Atonement as the High Priest enters the Holy of Holies.Volume II: The Three Pilgrim Festivals Bound in 19th Century Italian Silver Binding. Binding is purple velvet with cast silver trim, front and back consisting of central oval open cartouche with monogram, and interlace and foliate border with silver edges; similar decorative elements on spine; two cast openwork clasps. a.e.g. No marks found. H: 200mm Volume I: ff. 323, (1). Volume II: ff.264, 56. Lightly browned with few stains. 8 vo.
