A marvelous legacy of the cosmpolitan nature of the Jews of Jerusalem. Here, specifically testifying to the loyalty of British Jewish residents of Jerusalem to the British Crown at the time of the Coronation of the new King, following the death of Queen Victoria. This little booklet was issued in a limited quantity and distributed only to those personally invited to the Ceremonial Service. The wrappers bear a later printed Notice: “Owing to the postponement of the Coronation consequent upon the illness of the King...arrangements have had to be altered...”
