Yair Chaim Bacharach, The “Chavoth Yair” (1638-1702), was one of Germany’s most outstanding rabbinic scholars, who additionally possessed an extensive knowledge of Kabbalah and the sciences. The title-page also contains the signature of Aaron b. Elyakim of Worms (where the Chavoth Yair resided) and others. The marginalia are in more than one hand. For an identical signature see Lot 281
