The only work of the Spanish rabbi, Isaac Campanton (1360-1463). He lived at a time when Jewish scholarship and Talmudic erudition was on the decline amoung the Jews of the Iberian Peninsular. His work is a useful contribution to Talmudic methodology, attempting to provide a practical guide for teachers of the Talmud. Regarding textual variations, see Yudlov, Aresheth, vol VI, p.101-2.
