The work actually contains two works. The first: responsa by Jacob Pollack and Judah Loewe (the MaHaRa”L of Prague), concerning an Agunah (“chained woman”), first published in Prague in 1595. The econd: a eulogy for Akiva Ginzburg of Frankfurt by Judah Loewe, first published in Prague in 1598. The editor, Moses Darom, Dayan of Frankfurt am Main, combined the two works as he found them bound together in his ancestoral library.
