“Tractate on the way of Life in the New Country” with Machzor Katan, comprising a Hagadah “According to the American Custom” and Piyutim. A devastating attack on the state of American Jewish life, satirizing the dramatic changes found among immigrant Jews - apparently all too quick to abandon traditional practices. Kotlier felt the surrounding chaos resulted from the low moral standards set by the Jewish leaders of the day.
