Contains prayers for Yom Kippur Katan; the eve of the New Month. The prevailing custom in many communities was to fast and recite penitential prayers, especially the day before the first of Elul, in order to commence the month with repentance. The final leaf contains special instructions and prayers for the month of Nissan from the SHeLa”H Hakodosh and the controversial Chemdath Hayamim, in which “an abundance and overflow of blessing and prosperity is drawn down from Heaven.”
