Menachem Nachum of Chernobyl. And a short unpublished discourse by the Rebbe of Kapost, R. On f.244r. the writer notes a private audience with the Rebbe (Yechidus) before embarking upon a voyage to Eretz Israel in 1892 - a particularly interesting historical record regarding what matters of concern where upon the minds of Chassidim of the past. For example; Y. Heilprin, HaAliyoth HaRishonoth shel HaChasidim LeEretz Yisrael, Jerusalem, 1947, Y. Barnai, Igroth Chasidim, Jerusalem, 1980 and for a revisionist analysis- N. Karlinsky, Historia She’keneged- Counter History, The Hassidic Epistols from Eretz Israel: Text and Context., Jerusalem, 1998.
