Sir Moses Montefiore died in 1885 without issue and his title became extinct. Half a year later, however, another Baronetcy was conferred on Francis Abraham Montefiore, the grandson of Sir Moses’ brother and partner, Abraham, by grant of this Royal Warrent. See P. H.
