Brother and pupil of Moses Galante, R. Abraham settled in Safed as did his brother. Both were disciples of Moses Cordovero. Abraham ben Mordechai distinguished himself among his brethren, earning the appalation “HaKadosh.” This commentary first appeared in Kol Bochim (1589) together with that of JOEL ibn SHUA’IB.
