Six volumes. Five volumes with engraved rococo title pages by Bernard Picart with putti supporting an open Torah Scroll and coronet above with vignettes below depicting Biblical episodes from the lives of Samuel, Moses and David. First volume with additional letterpress title in Spanish and Hebrew. Further engraved title prior to Book of Haphtaroth. Hebrew poems dedicated to various notables towards end. Concluding with Solomon de Oliveyra’s Calendario, with 3 folding tables, Amsterdam, 1726. ff. (10), 327; (1), 328-446, (12). An attractive wide marged set. Uniform contemporary Dutch deep red calf, elaborately gilt-tooled with floral border-piece centered on a geometric cartouche surrounded by scrollwork, flourishes and arabesques, spine in compartments, marbled endpapers, a.e.g. 8vo Vinograd, Amsterdam 1292; Kayserling 80-1; not in Darlow & Moule
