Deed of Endowment between the Prussian philanthropist Benjamin Loewy and his wife Hadassah, and the Kollel Ungaren for the building of apartments in the Meah Shearim district of Jerusalem. The rather dictatorial nature of the gift specify the apartments are to be set aside for indigent Torah scholars only. The donor’s name to be featured on a plaque within each apartment, and the occupants must engage in daily religious study for the spiritual merit of Loewy. Following his demise, the first male born to each family is to be named Benjamin and the first female, Hadassah
