The approbations (including R.Y. Landau of Prague) state that the author of Eynei Avraham was blind since birth but his mind is imbued with the “light “of knowledge. In his introduction, the author thanks R. Chaim Raphael Navon (the son of the author of Kiryat Melech and grandson of the Machaneh Ephraim ) who studied with him “from morning till the evening” and wrote the book as they studied. See A.
