Commissioned to commemorate the memory of the patron’s son.

Watercolor on paper, mounted on boards and varnished. Iconographic motifs derived from Psalms and Ethics of the Fathers, including beasts of the wild, wind and string instruments, distinctive serpant surrounding the whole. All accomplished with related aphorisms in Hebrew. Elaborately colored on a field of ochre. 600x910 mm. Edges chipped.
