Biographers are in disagreement as to whether Tractate Makoth was printed in Amsterdam in 1690 or is a pseudo-Amsterdam imprint actually printed in Halle in 1714. For a careful presentation of the evidence suggesting that Makoth was printed in Amsterdam, see M. J.
