Issued upon the visit of Paul Petrowitsch of Russia to the synagogue in Königsberg, capital of East Prussia. Son of Catherine II the Great and Peter III, Paul (1754-1801) was Emperor of Russia from 1796 until his death. A synagogue was first established in Königsberg in 1756, when the community numbered some 300 persons
