Appended is a lengthy treatise on the interpretations of dreams “composed at the request of the most illustrious Senõr Don Joseph Nasi” and giving a graphic description of the later’s luxurious way of life. Through the efforts of Almosnino and Nasi, the Community of Salonika was granted by Sultan Selim II the status of a self-governing entity, which it enjoyed for several centuries.
