Published by the Author’s grandson, Shneur Zalman Mendelovitz of the Chabad Community in Hebron. The work has an unusually large number of approbations, including R. Israel Salanter (seldom given to proffer such commendation), R. Joshua Leib Diskin and from the five sons of the Grand Rabbi of Lubavitch, R. Menachem Mendel. Mendelovitz also provides a lengthy preface in which he recounts his travels in aid of the Hebron community, visiting Europe, the Near East and India. See A. Yaari, Sheluchei Eretz Yisrael (1977) p.696
