<<Children’s Pamphlet Marking the Cornerstone-Laying Ceremony for the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.>> This petite production was given to children who attended the cornerstone-laying ceremony: “Children! Today… is a great and holy day. On this day, we are founding a home from which to learn science and wisdom for the glory of our nation. And the name of this home - ‘University’ … Every enlightened nation has at least one large school like this… Only we, the Jewish people, have not had a special university… You are fortunate to be educated in our Land, the Holy Land, and learn in Hebrew schools… [you] will not have to wander to foreign lands to seek wisdom and knowledge there.
