Kibbutz Alonim: Spring 1944

Est: $700 - $900
Penned as a letter by the Kibbutz children to their fathers serving in Europe, in which daily life at home is described. The children innocently talk of a hike taken to Kiryat Tivon, helping with the newborn babies in the Kibbutz nursery, and hopes of a trip to the beach in Caesarea; blissfully unaware of the pangs of homesickness their letter was sure to induce on its faraway readers. Located in the Lower Galilee, Kibbutz Alonim was founded by members of HaShomer HaTza’ir in 1936.
