A Hebrew Testimonial presented to <<Consul Mrs. James Finn>> by Jacob and Dina Teomim Frenkel in gratitude for assistance in the development of the Rothschild Hospital in Jerusalem, under the directorship of Dr. Isaac D'Arbela (Amchislavsky). One page. Torn with some marginal loss.

Elizabeth Anne Finn (1825-1921) was the wife of James Finn, the British consul in Jerusalem. Despite being missionaries, the Finns distinguished themselves in Jerusalem as friends of Jews who lacked Ottoman or European citizenship and thus were without protection.
