R. Menachem Nochum Dov-Ber Friedman (1843-1883) was the son of R. Shalom Yoseph Friedman of Ruzhin. His son, also Shalom Yoseph, was the Grand-Rebbe of Mielnice, while his brother, R. Yitzchak Friedman founded the Bohush Chassidic court.
