Sermons of the Maharal were published two other times in his lifetime, in 1584 and 1593. This sermon, given on honor of the approaching Passover holiday, deals with themes of repentance, redemption and personal piety. The author weaves together sources from across the Sea of Talmud, posing questions - only to answer them himself in a most creative fashion.
