<<An important Chassidic Siddur>> issued by R. Moshe Shapira, the founder of the famed Shapira Press. R. Moshe was the son of the renowned Chassidic Rebbe, R. Pinchas of Koretz (1726-91). Although many Chassidim davened according to Minhag Sephard, this is a rare Minhag Aschkenaz Shapira Siddur for those distinct few who preferred that orientation. This copy bears all the marks of having been deeply, fervently, lovingly used. Pages are worn at the lower corners where they are turned, it has remnants of candle-wax on the pages of Kiddush Levana and has wine-stains on the pages of the Hagadah for Pesach.
