French inscription at front, dated 1887. ff. 167, 17, 168-226. Touch stained, fore-edges painted red. Contemporary gilt-ruled calf, expertly repaired. 16mo. Housed in custom solander-box. Unrecorded by Vinograd.

The earliest recorded Hebrew prayer-book to be issued in Paris is dated 1826. This beautifully printed, unrecorded little Siddur was printed in Paris a full eighteen years earlier.
