Divided into 78 chapters, Torah Ohr focuses upon Jewish eschatology relying upon the Aggadic portions of the Talmud. A disciple of R. Judah Mintz in Padua, R. Yoseph ben David ibn Yachya (1494-1534) was born in Florence. The introduction to the present work provides biographical information concerning the flight of the well-to-do Don Yachya family from Lisbon, Portugal via Castille, to Tuscany.
