A compendium of prayers and blessings including Sabbath Zemiroth and a Hagadah for Passover, accompanied by numerous woodcuts. The illustrations are based on the Viennese Hagadah published by Anton Schmid in 1794. <<Uncommonly Rare.>> Vinograd lists the work based only on a single record (Cara-Schwartz, I. Hebrew Printing in Rumania, in: Kiryat Sepher vol. XLV (1969/70) p. 290 no. 4). The Hagadah is not found in any of the printed catalogues or Hagadah bibliographies. The work is also distinguished by the presence of a censor’s statement on verso of the title printed in Rumanian in Hebrew characters, seemingly the only such instance of such a phenomenon. See Hebrew Printing in Roumania, in: Journal of Jewish Bibliography (1940) pp. 110-16.
