Within the historic Meah Shearim neighborhood of Jerusalem reside many of the hardline factions of Orthodox Judaism, including the base of operations of the Eidah HaChareidis. The present lot is a collection of announcements issued during the Mandate years and the first decade or so of Israel’s existence, providing a window into an otherwise cloistered community.
