Eight financial / commercial documents (both printed and manuscript) pertaining to American Jews.

Lot consists of the following: << *>> 1. A ticket for the William & Mary College Lottery in the sum of $2.50 signed by Simon Block (December 10, 1811). << *>> 2. A check from the Schuylkill Bank to Sarah Nathans for $150 (October 14, 1822). << *>> 3. A similar check to Sarah Nathans for $148.63 (April 13, 1825) - both checks are signed by W. Meredith, the president of the bank. << *>> 4. A note from the Judgment Docket of the District Court of Philadelphia stating that Richard Garwood has no judgments against him - this document is signed by Samuel M. Solomon, Auditor for the city of Philadelphia (May 1, 1829). << *>> 5. Two certificates issued to Joshua Moses: For the exportation of goods from the Port of New York; and for the importation goods into Philadelphia (December 21, 1831, and March 2, 1832). << *>> 6. Sol Meyers. Autograph Letter Signed, written in German to L. Meyers; of a commercial nature.Savannah, December 4, 1851. << *>> 7. A handwritten cover letter to L. Meyers & Co. from J. Silberman, which notes that $271.80 in payment for good received is included (December 6, 1852).
