R. Alexander Moshe Lapidot was R. Yisroel Salanter’s right hand and one of the founders of the Mussar Movement, he wrote the celebrated “Divrei Emeth.” A disciple of the Beis HaLevi in Volozhin, R. Yechiel Michel Wolfson (Otzar HaRabbanim 9278) was the son-in-law of R. Chaim Zalman, Av Beth Din of Mir. He composed the three-volume responsa, Sephath HaYam.
