The son-in-law of R. Naftali of Ropshitz and the only son of R. Meir Yechiel HaLevi of Ostrovtza (whom he succeeded as Rebbe), R. Yechezkel was one of the greatest Rabbinical scholars among pre-war Chassidic leaders. He and his entire family (including seven married sons) were murdered by the Nazis.
