Passover Hagadah produced expressly for the use of the community of Marranos (or New Christians) who held fast to crypto-Jewish traditions in Northern Portugal. Commonly thought to have faded into extinction, the community was regenerated in the 1920’s under the leadership of Captain Barros-Basto.
