Palestinian Arab nationalist and Muslim leader in Mandatory Palestine who was appointed Grand Mufti of Jerusalem. Taken when Husseini was a young man, this studio photograph was by Khalil Raad (1854–1957) known as "Palestine's first Arab photographer."
