The Jüdischer Frauenbund (JFB) was the first German organization founded for specifically for Jewish women as part of the feminist movement. In addition to strengthening Jewish women toward their faith and developing their skills as housewives, it also offered vocational training for young women so that, if necessary, they could support themselves independently. This version was issued for Jews seeking refuge from Nazi-Germany in Palestine, where communal living (kibbutz-life) was likely.
