Includes special prayers composed by the Chief Rabbi of the British Empire, including one (ff. 31-4) which stresses that Great Britain has not entered into this war in order to"possess land that is not ours," but rather"to rescue a guiltless nation from a strong aggressor" [i.e. Germany]. Prefatory note states: “I send [this Hagadah] forth to my comrades serving in His Majesty’s Forces with an earnest prayer that the coming Festival of Liberty may be the last celebrated amid the tumult of a Great War!”
