Although written in the hand of the Steipler, it appears that it may have been copied from the writings of his son R. Chaim, as p. 2 and p. 8 contain citations heard from “Adoni Avi Mori VeRabi Shlita.”
A shortened version of certain concepts discussed in part of this manuscript was published in Kehiloth Yaakov Vol. V, Siman 27. However, the present manuscript contains much additional material on the subject.
