Rabbi Meshulam Roth was a noted Chasidic Posek, and son-in-law of Rabbi Pinchos Menachem Mendel Rubin (1870-1941) the Admor of Seret. Rabbi Ben-Zion Meir Hai Uziel (1880-1953) was the Sephardic Chief Rabbi of Mandatory Palestine and the State of Israel from 1939-1953. He was the author of Mishpetei Ouziel, several volumes of highly regarded responsa.
