Based upon the appearance of the English “bobby” policemen on the far left of this scene, it appears to be taking place in England. Might very well be Speaker’s Corner, Hyde Park, London.
Julius and Ethel Rosenberg were American-Jews convicted of espionage on behalf of the Soviet Union. The couple were executed, amidst much controversy, by the federal government of the United States, in 1953.
