<<A scarce edition>> unknown to Darlow & Moule. The city of Rome never became a center of Hebrew printing as its more northerly neighbors did, likely due to the imposing presence of the Vatican. In fact this book, as well as two other minor works put out by the same printer, were the only Hebrew books printed in Rome between the years 1548 and 1618.
