Self-portrait.

Lithograph. Signed and numbered by the artist in pencil lower left. Struck’s initials, place and date in the stone lower right. Unexamined out of frame. 10 x 8 inches to mat.

Kaunas, 1916:

Est: $800 - $1,200

Struck - seen here in uniform - volunteered for German military service in World War I, serving as a translator, officer liaison and military artist. He was eventually awarded the Iron Cross, the highest German military decoration for bravery.
