A rare Wold War I-era American Yiddish poster. Issued for the benefit of the United War Work Campaign. “Give your money! They give their lives!” The United War Work Campaign was comprised of seven non-governmental organizations, including the Jewish Welfare Board. The Jewish Welfare Board was formed by a group of prominent Jewish Americans on April 9, 1917, as a response by the American Jewish Community to the United States’ entry into the First World War on April 6th.
