The translator Mordechai Aaron Günzburg (1795-1846), a native of Salant, Lithuania, received for this work the formal haskamah of R. Abraham Abele [Posweller], Av-Beth-Din of Vilna who explains how the momentous discovery of the New World provides man a greater appreciation of how wondrous and vast is God's creation.
