Kultur un Bildung [“Culture and Education”-journal]

The Yiddish government sponsored journal, Kultur un Bildung, was first printed in 1918 and edited by Samuel Niger. The journal wrote about the many developments in contemporary Russian Jewish art. It gave its support to the newly formed cultural organization, “The Moscow Circle of Jewish Men of Letters and Artists” and was even involved in organizing art courses under the direction of Jewish artists
