The Midrash Tehilim was most likely composed towards the end of the tenth century and its place of origin was probably Southern Italy. It contains interpretations and short homiles on one hundred and forty-three Psalms. It is chiefly a compilation of sayings bearing on the verses of the Psalms scattered throughout the Agadah, but it also contains some original material.
