Seder Hahagadah Leleil Shimurim. Prepared by Wolf Heidenheim

The first of a long and celebrated series of Hagadahs printed in Rödelheim. Heidenheim printed two other issues of the Hagadah in this nascent year. From a perusal through the relevant bibliographies, it would appear this Rödelheim edition is the first Hagadah printed in a rectangular format. Indeed, it might very well be the first Hebrew book entirely, to be printed in such a fashion. The innovation of a rectangular Hagadah served to aid the reader whilst seated at the lavishly set table during the course of the Seder
