Bound in six volumes (according to the Six Orders of the Mishnah). Text in two columns in square type, commentary in rabbinc type. Numerous woodcut diagrams within the text. Colophon on f. 270r. Marginalia in several early hands. The Admiral Lewis Lichtenstein Strauss copy ff. 340 (of 356), lacking 1-9, 16-18, 26, 107, 355-356. Lightly foxed and stained in places, many leaves rehinged with tears along extreme inner margins, several leaves of first volume with marginal wear, final volume dampsoiled resulting in tears on several leaves, final 13 leaves crudely repaired with distinct marginal loss of text.
