Grammatical treatise written at the request of the liberal and enlightened Pope Leo X, and first published in Rome in1518. This expanded edition is divided into 52 sections (corresponding to the numerical value of the Author’s first name) and discusses such issues as as the nature of Hebrew verbs, the changes in the vowel-points of the different conjugations and regular and irregular nouns. A typically thorough linguistic investigation by a remarkable Hebrew philologist. See Amram, pp. 236-41
