Only known autographed signature of Joseph Solomon Delmedigo (“YaSHa”R of Candia” [i.e. Crete]). Celebrated scholar (1591-1655), author of Sepher Elim and Ta’alumoth Chachmah (1629), Delmedigo was an ardent bibliophile who amassed a personal library of 7000 volumes. Title page also bears the signature of Eliezer Bellin (Aschkenazi), author of Sepher Ivronoth (1615)
